Epson increases output at Visual Impact 2018

Epson Australia’s theme at this year’s Visual Impact Sydney show is a real-world copy shop and the output it produces to sell to customers. The entire stand’s focus will be on a variety of tangible, saleable applications demonstrated as examples of ways signage and display businesses can quickly strengthen their existing revenue streams or add new ones.

To underscore this point Epson is showcasing a plethora of their latest and best equipment including many printers and solutions are shown and demonstrated for the first time in Australia.
In the fabric demo area, there will be the new high-speed SureColor F9360 64” dye sub printer, the SureColor F2160 DTG printer raising the productivity bar while enhancing output quality and reducing running costs and the

SureColor F6200 44” dye-sub printer designed to operate in conjunction with a small to medium sized heat press.
For signage in the eco-solvent space, Epson will bring their SureColor S80600 64”, high colour machine boasting 9 or 10-colour configurations with PANTONE® coverage up to 98%* and the 64” SureColor S60600 high speed, dual head, dual ink supply printer that completes billboard prints at up to 52.3m2/hr.

Epson is also introducing some powerful and cost-effective new software at the show. Epson Edge Print is an application designed to enable prints to be output without the need of a traditional RIP. Compatible with Epson’s latest range of dye sublimation and signage printers, it combines a simple interface with a comprehensive set of tools to make production fast, easy and efficient. Customers who visit our stand will be able to see the new software in action.
Poster, graphics & POS solutions are also very well represented with Epson’s SureColor P20070 64”, 10-colour, high speed, cost-effective printer used for printing saleable photography, fine art, poster artwork or commercial POS, the SureColor T7200D 44” printer compatible with a wide range of media for printing economically and at high speed, and two all-new SureColor T-Series models, the 24” SC-T3160 and the 36” SC-T5460.

24” SureColor T3460 and 36” SureColor T5460.

The new and extended T-Series range marks a significant expansion for Epson into the low-to-mid-range CAD, AEC, GIS, POS, poster and education markets. On show and being demonstrated at Visual Impact will be the new 24” SureColor T3160 with its 34s/A1 print speed and the 36” SC-T5460, even faster at 22s/A1, both featuring all-pigment UltraChrome XD2 ink, WiFi and WiFi Direct capability and Epson’s patented PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead.

Finally, in the digital signage area, Epson will be demonstrating their new LightScene EV-100, a new type of projector that is ideal for curated visual environments such as retail showrooms, shop window displays, museum exhibits and art installations, where minimal visual clutter is key. It can be used to provide information, show video or moving patterns, and even projection map imagery onto small objects.
