We’ve had visitors from Perth to New Zealand and everything in between,” says Camille Godfrey, Starleaton’s specialist for the Fine Art, Photo and Framing market. “As DES, we always supported this event and, along with Epson, introduced framers to digital art reproduction using custom media such as Hahnemüehle, Breathing Colour and Awagami. Now, as STARLEATON, that tradition continues and looks set for excellent growth.”
The three-day event held August 11-13 at the sumptuous Grandstand at Sydney’s Randwick Racecourse, also featured workshops from industry experts including Epson’s Derek Mobbs on “What’s involved in producing digital images.” Epson has firmly cemented its leading position in Fine Art and Photo digital reproduction and was principal sponsor for the show.
As a leading Epson dealer, Starleaton had three working Epson printers on their stand, along with colour-calibrated Eizo monitors, a Flexa EasyLite laminator. John Bennett was on hand to advise on correct colour management - so vital in the Fine Art & Photo market. He and Godfrey were joined by account manager Andrew Sala.

The interest and leads generated are very encouraging; as a focused show run by Profile’s Frank Filippone who is an industry icon, virtually every visitor to our stand was a business-owning customer. It’s a small show but very worthwhile and we’ll be back in Melbourne for 2019 for sure.”
