At Dscoop Phoenix, HP announced a milestone of 500 Indigo Series 4 presses sold, amid continued HP printing momentum, with HP Indigo customers enjoying double-digit page growth and hitting a new record for 2016. Local agent Currie Group has sold at least 15 Indigo Series 4 presses.
Additionally, in less than a year, since drupa 2016, more than 200 HP Indigo 7900 units have been sold worldwide.
“We are proud to see the ongoing growth of our customers around the world, as well as the innovation in applications and business models they develop,” Alon Bar-Shany, general manager, HP Indigo, told more than 2,000 participants at the annual users conference showcasing HP’s latest digital press portfolio and applications.
Installed in 46 countries, the Series 4 press platform includes the HP Indigo 10000 and 12000 for commercial printing, HP Indigo 20000 for labels and flexible packaging, and HP Indigo 30000 for folding cartons, as well as the duplex oversized 30 inch, roll-fed HP Indigo 50000.
At the Dscoop North America annual conference in Phoenix, HP showcased its latest digital press portfolio for graphic arts, including solutions for sign and display, corrugated, flexible packaging, folding cartons, photo specialty, labels and commercial printing.
This year, the Jetcomm 2017 conference was integrated into Dscoop, allowing the community of PageWide web press users to benefit from a combined experience. At Hunkeler Innovationdays, HP unveiled the HP PageWide web press T235HD, a low total-cost-of ownership platform for publishing, production mail and commercial needs.
