Australian Graphic Servicing (AGS) will celebrate its appointment as the exclusive agent for Kompac in Australia with a three-day Open House, where it will demonstrate the advantages of Kompac aqueous and UV coating systems for digital and offset print.
Kompac coating systems are available as sheet or web fed, Flood Coat or Spot Coat. The range includes bench top coating for labels up to 254mm wide, sheetfed machines to suit digital and offset applications up to 775mm as well as high volume up to in-line with auto feed and stack.
The latest Kompac UV and aqueous coating systems are ideal for digital and offset applications as well as sheetfed and roll-fed label applications and are claimed to be faster, more efficient and far more cost-effective than lamination.
The highlight will be demonstrations of the EZ Koat 20 Plus. With its small footprint and ability to be easily moved, the EZ Koat 20 Plus switches from inline to offline in just five minutes The infinitely variable bulb control allows the operator to make precise adjustments resulting in th eperfect curing wattage every time, whether digital or offset output, producing dramatic cost savings on power and excellent ROI.
Using the patented ‘Kompac Vac’ and environmentally-friendly UV Klean, coating change and clean up takes just two minutes.
Proudly made in the USA, the Kompac EZ Koat is the only UV coating system to feature solid state UV. Environmentally friendly, solid state UV replaces outdated and potentially hazardous ballast / mercury relay systems used in curing UV coatings. It is guaranteed to reduce power consumption by 25% compared to ballast type systems.
